| Want Live in Argentina While working in US I am a 30yr old professional US citizen. I want to move to Argentina indefinitely. I own a business in the US and I work completely by phone and email so I would not need authorization to work in Argentina. And since my business is in the US I can transfer significant US fund into Argentina monthly, so I was thinking a Rentista Visa but I dont know if that works because of my age and that my income is from foreign work opposed to investment income. What type of Visa do I need to apply for? |

'rentista' would more literally translate to 'rental income, ' but would generally be any kind of 'passive income, ' ie: rental income, stock dividends, interest, etc, and NOT 'EARNING' income.Additionally, the concept of 'EARNING' income in the USA while LIVING in Argentina may still be a bit abstract. ie: earning/working fits in the realm of work permits etc. So, it may be that you need to look at your income being passive, ie: you receive it because you OWN the company, not because you WORK for the company. Spend some time really delving into how their concepts work and then fit your life into it. It will be much easier than trying to present a new concept to them. |
