is this position still available?

Where are you located and how far are you willing to travel?

Where are you trying to find a ranch job? Any certain country you would like to move to?

Why don't you just sell you ranch in Africa and start a new one in another safer country.

There are lots of things to consider on starting up a ranch. Finance, location etc etc...

Moving to another country is again a another story.

I agree that the post is quite not clear. Are you currently living in South Africa and plan on moving to Argentina?

As Richard has indicated, there is a lot involved in the setting up of a ranch and this needs a lot of input both from you and other stakeholders.

Immigration even complicates the whole issue of whether or not you should set it up.

Plunge your head into the murky waters because I have a feeling you have what it takes.

Putting up a ranch is not as easy as you think. And to think that you are planning to put it up on a foreign country, I suggest that you think it over and over and.....over again.

You had to have lots of money brother, and lots of guts. You cannot just put it up there like building a house on a purchased lot, there are so many to consider.

Well I think that the original poster have his mind on it and have the **** for it. But i have to agree with what you have in mind Raymond.

Putting up a ranch or an kind of business, establishments and the like needs strong determination and lots of guts, not to mention the money involved.

I just hope that the original poster got his goal accomplished and may successfully come up with his ranch.

Instead of looking for a ranch work in other countries why not just establish or relocate you ranching business to somewhere else safe. But that depend of what you can do and what you can provide. Good luck

Relocating is big issue my dear. You need to establish first your self before you would be able t relocate your business, in this case a ranch..can you imagine that?

I am just wondering, what threat are you and you're family facing to think of abandoning your recent ranch? Is your South African ranch working fine? Have you think of just staying and patching things up?

Please let us know..

"immigration"

If you are runing away because your country is dongerous, let me tell you, you will find it in every where, in someplaces higher than others of course. I'm agree you should think , if you are dediced to move, first find a a place and then you can start over. Eventhough you find the way to take all you want with you , the papers work will take ages.

Comment #12 Coatie (63.176.159.57) - 11/13/09 23:31

Yeah, dangers, threats and everything that falls into it ar everywhere. And i have to agree that by simply relocating is not as simple as you think of it, and to mention that you are considering to do business immediately, and a ranch business that requires owner to acquire huge patch of land would be a little hard.

And fabis have a point that legal paperworks would cost you lots of time.

Ranch work is very hard work. I hope that this person is fully prepared for what they are about to partake in.

Comment #14 Eve (63.176.159.127) - 12/07/09 14:25

I have not ever been able to work on a ranch, but my grandfather ran a farm for many a year, and I even did a bit of agriculture work myself, but elsewhere and therefore, I had gotten the gist of what it could really be like when working on a ranch.

Comment #15 Eve (63.176.159.140) - 12/14/09 13:59

My grandmother actually owns a great deal of land in my country so I just might end up investing in having a farm, one of these good days. Just as soon as my money starts to look like twice as good as it already does.

Comment #16 Nancy G. Liwanag (63.176.159.218) - 12/29/09 21:59

What is the difference between Ranch work, farming, agriculture. This terms confuses me alot

Comment #17 Hilda (63.176.159.220) - 01/19/10 06:41

Hmmm... I never thought of differentiating those terms before. Good thing that you do ask that question. As far as my knowledge is concerned, in ranch work you do raise some ranch animals like horses, cattle and more. In farming you raise crops, different kinds of crops as well as raising some animals like chicken, ducks and pigs. Agriculture is the same with farming and ranch work.

Have a good day guys.

Comment #18 riota (63.176.159.18) - 02/10/10 21:29

A simple comparison yet I find it interesting. Well I have never been in a ranch before so I do not know how to describe it, but with regards to farm, well there are farm animals indeed and some planted crops and trees all over. And I think that farming and ranch works all falls in agriculture. Well guys, let us see if some other ideas would be posted here.
