'Types of Visas' Immigration

I am interested in the possibility of retiring to Argentina. Can anyone refer me to a link describing the types of Visas leading to permanent residency? I will not need to obtain a work visa. Thanks.

Hi paroots,

you should consider looking into a rentista or retiree visa. Those would be your best bet. Unless you do like us and have a baby there :-)

I have heard Panama is a wonderful place to live, I have considered moving there, why are you moving. What are some of the downsides of living there? Why do you think Argentina is so much better? I would really appreciate the insight, Thanks!

I am traveling to Argentina to meet a man I met on the internet.. We have been talking for 6 months now and he wants me to come visit. If all goes well, he wants me to move there. I am a teacher and I would like to continue teaching. What are the school districts like there? And what do I need to do to become a teacher there?

If you are serious about moving you should research it and find out the open jobs and the most reliable source of income inthat country.
