I want to relocate to Argentina. I am a finance professional working in Leveraged Loans and structured finance/credit analyst. I have also spent three years at Ernst and Young as an external auditor. I am studying towards the CFA. Is there anyone out there with some advice.Regards
Adam

Hello, I'm a certified wielder looking into any job placement in Argentina and curious as to how much the pay is.I would greatly appreciate any feed back, thank you.

You are certified in Argentina or the USA? Do you think a USA certification is useful in Argentina?I have no idea, but I suspect it is an involved process to get it recognized and then you'll find the wages (if you can find a job) significantly less than you are used to.
Why would an Argentine company hire an American welder over a local?
I am not trying to be negative here. But, if it was the USA and the question was about a Mexican welder the answer would be to save money. If the same answer was used for my last question, then you'd be even less happy about the wages!
I think the key to moving to Argentina (or another country) is to be able to support your self without depending on the local economy (ie: your own business for tourists or something online).

I am trying to move to Argentina next year, but my Spanish is not the best. Are there many companies there that are looking for English speakers with little Spanish conversational skills.I am an Economics graduate with 5 years experience in Human Resources and Recruitment.

Essaid, you are asking for help on the other side of the world. This page is for Argentina not Spain.

Essaid is looking for any type of job in Spain. Here's one: construction. Oh and how about another? What about farming? What kind of idiot asks "looking for any type of jobs in Spain"?Is your IQ in the single digits?

It is obvious that this is an Argentine forum. In response, a finance professional would not easily miss a job..but it all depends on how much you are willing to burn your fingers in search of the same. I have heard of CFA being a good credential so the mere mention of it might take you to imaginable heights so all the best.
When it comes to whether or not you will find a job, take your time to study the arena first

What seems to intrigue me is that a majority of people, even in their prime age, will still be looking for jobs. What then is the point of spending all your life earning credentials and a whole lot of this time searching for a job opening(s). Is it the case that entrepreneurship is normally a far fetched idea that is easier said than done?
Had Essaid said 'kinds of jobs in Spain', perhaps his IQ would be measuring in double digits.

Working as a 3D professional in any region of South America would be perfect, so long as they pay well enough, of course, but in general, I would simply love to get a nice job doing 3D stuff in a county such as Argentina and the likes of it.
Comment #17 Eve (63.176.159.58) - 12/08/09 10:50
Do many place in the southern hemisphere of the world indulge in projects that involve having an employee with a vast knowledge of 3D environments?
