Yeah, check out the salad recipes and you will find something to settle upon. I do not think you would arrive at anything solid to keep you going for hours. Utilise the chefs if you know of any but your best chance lies online

Speaking of Salads, here is one

Ingredients:

1 large bag of romaine lettuce or spinach

greens

1 can Mandarin oranges in juice not syrup,

11 ounces, chilled

¼ pound fresh mushrooms, cleaned and

sliced thin

½ cup slivered almonds

Salad dressing to taste

First, toast the slivered almonds by spreading them on a cookie sheet and placing them in

a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes. Watch them very carefully since they burn easily,

stirring once or twice. Take them out a little earlier than when you think they are done. Give

them five minutes to cool down because they will get a little crunchier as they cool. Then you can

taste them to see if they are done.

Combine all ingredients, toss with dressing and enjoy!

Here is some pancake recipe

Steps to Making Perfect Pancakes

1. In a medium bowl or pitcher, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and leavening.

2. In another bowl, whisk together the liquid ingredients. That will usually include eggs, melted butter or oil, and water, milk, or buttermilk.

3. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix only until thoroughly moistened. Some lumps will remain. Do not over mix. The batter should be thin enough to pour easily and spread to no more than 1/4 inch thick. If the batter is too thick, thin with more liquid.

4. Scoop or pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto a hot griddle. If you are using a griddle with a thermostat, the heat should be set on 375 degrees.

5. Cook the pancakes until the tops are full of bubbles, the bubbles set, and the edges begin to look dry. The pancakes should be a golden brown on the bottom. Turn the pancake over and cook the opposite side until it browns.

6. Serve hot off the griddle.

Here is another easy to prepare recipe

CORN MEAL WAFFLES

Waffles:

Waffles will stick if the iron is too hot or if it isn't hot enough. If your waffle iron has no temperature control, preheat it about 8 minutes, or until a drop of water forms tiny balls and "plays" on the grid. Use at least 3 tablespoons of shortening for each cup of flour. And no peeking 'til steaming stops!

1 1/4 cups milk

3/4 cup flour; 1 1/2 cups corn meal

1/2 cup shortening, melted

2 eggs

3 tsps. baking powder

2 tbsps. sugar

1 tsp. salt

Sift flour; measure; add baking powder, salt and sugar. Sift again. Beat egg yolks; add milk and shortening. Pour into flour mixture; mix just enough to moisten dry ingredients. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake.

Quick food is the sure of the modern world, but my advice is that it is best to eat well prepared food, preferably not cooked at too high a temperature as that would kill, or lessen the nutritional content of the food, but cooked just enough that it is perfect for the stomach, the palette and every in between.

The surest direction of the modern world these days is the 'quick food' direction, just as people are getting more and more, interested in saving as much time as they possibly can during each and every day, and things of the sort.

Though quick food is quickly becoming the "in" thing, that does not mean that it may be the most healthy of all things that may be available for one to consume.

Maybe you are right but there are actually healthy foods that can be repared on just ten minutes to fiften minutes, just like salads and shakes. I love fruit shakes and I also love to eat salads. You just have to be very creative in the kitchen to be able to come up with everything that is delicious and nice.

Happy cooking and enjoy eating. Have a nice day guys
