'purely based on assumption' Recipes and Food

Recipes in Argentina, I imagine, would be somewhat spicy and very much a sort of latin, italian style of food. I am purely making this particular claim based precisely on my personal assumptions. Still, from what I understand, most latin countries tend to eat food that are of a similar flavor and or fashion to which they can all relate and of which they are all a little accustomed.

I think you are completely wrong. First, all Latin countries are quite distinctive in their foods. Second, beyond Mexico you may find very little spicy food. Especially in South America.
